He was conferred with Commonwealth Professional Fellowship, UK (2010) and was a Fellow at London School of Economics, London, UK for three months. He is also the Chairperson of Centre for Library and Information Management Studies at TISS and teaches at PG Diploma and Masters programmes. He has successfully supervised 7 PhDs.
