Dr. Lata Suresh

Dr. Lata Suresh is a multidimensional individual with a diverse range of skills and accomplishments. She holds the dual position of Head of Knowledge Resource Centre and Head of Institutional Partnership and Corporate Communications at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, which operates under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. With over 30 years of professional experience, she is highly qualified, holding a PhD from the University of Pune, as well as degrees in MBA (HR&Finance), MPhil, MLISc, M.A. (Sociology), Advanced Diploma in IT and E-Commerce Technology, and a PG Diploma in Cyber Law.
Dr. Lata Suresh has made significant contributions to her field and has been recognized internationally, nationally, regionally, and locally. She has integrated information technology advancements into academic programs and has expertise in creating, training, and developing E-Library Portals using Open Source. She has also worked on funded projects for various organizations, including the Government of India, World Health Organization, and ICHAP, among others. As an author, Dr. Lata Suresh has published many books with renowned publishers and has numerous papers published in reputable national and international publications. She serves as an editor, associate editor, and member for several national and international journals and is the Executive Editor for the Journal of Corporate Affairs published by IICA-MCA, GOI. She has also served as the Assistant editor to-Journal of Health Management Published by Sage. She is a highly sought-after speaker and trainer and delivered lectures and talks at conferences and seminars and invited lectures at various Universities and Corporate Programmes. She is a certified trainer on leadership, soft skills, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), and corporate training. She is also a faculty member for research methodology courses and has developed modules for various courses and certificate programs. She is a supervisor and guiding 8 research Scholars too. She has launched a unique 3-month certificate course on “Knowledge Management.”
Throughout her career, Dr. Suresh has received numerous prestigious awards for her work in information science, social services, literature, and singing. She has been recognized by organizations such as the Special Library Association (United States), Asian Book of Records, World Book of Records, and many others. She has also been honored with the APJ Kalam National Award, NARI SHREE Award, National Women Excellence Award, and Women of the Future Award, among others. She is also in the expert panel constituted by UGC under G20.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Suresh actively engages in social causes. She is an environmentalist involved in plantation programs and has planted over 1 lakh plants within a year. Her contribution has been recognized by the World Book of Records in 2022. She has pledged to donate her eyes, organs, and body for the benefit of others after her death. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, Dr. Lata Suresh’s areas of interest include information science, services marketing, networking, communication, leadership, knowledge management, digital/social marketing, cyber law, corporate governance, creativity and design thinking, financial literacy, human resources, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), media management, and gender studies. She has traveled extensively for her professional commitments to countries such as the UK, US, Singapore, Oman, and Malaysia and many more.
