Charu Sabnavis
Charu Sabnavis is an executive coach, facilitator, diversity expert and a columnist. Disimpassioned with the principles of economics, Charu, an alumnus of Delhi School of Economics, embarked on an enriching and challenging journey in the field of people and organizational development after a successful corporate stint, wherein she spearheaded HR, learning and development and operations a Morgan Stanley, Capgemini, Datamatics and NIIT. She started Delta Learning, a company specializing in organizational and people development, in 2012, and has trained and coached over 8,000 people in 55 organizations across six industries in the areas of leadership, workplace excellence and diversity. She has engaged with teams at PricewaterhouseCoopers, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Capgemini, Bank of America, ANZ, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, NSE, CRISIL, MCX, NCDEX, Aegon Life, Birla Sunlife Insurance, Future Generali, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Power among others. She is associated with the academia, teaching business communication at S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and National Institute of Securities Markets. Her tryst with the print media dates back to 2005, when her first article was published in the Economic Times. She surged ahead with her writing career publishing articles on workplace effectiveness, diversity and leadership in the Mint, Financial Express, Business Standard, Hindu Business Line, DNA, Mumbai Mirror and Hindustan Times. When she is not coaching and training people, Charu enjoys hearing Indian classical and Blues music, tending to plants and practicing yoga.
